Space & Accommodation :
To achieve the best group dynamic each workshop is designed for small groups to a maximum of six people, on a first come first served basis. You may wish to verify availability and accommodation details by email or phone.
Early reservation, especially for high summer ensures a workshop place, choice of accommodation and best prices between B&B, Gites, apartments or airBnB, either in the village, or if you have transport then on a farm house in a vineyard in the surrounding countryside.
IMPORTANT RENDEVOUS :
You can be collected and returned to the TGV station in Aix-en-Provence, or Marseille Airport.
All the Workshops begin Saturday evening with an aperitif at 6pm, and Workshop introduction, followed by dinner together at 7pm. They finish after lunch the following Saturaday.
So it is important to reserve your return transport for late afternoon, unless you are driving or staying on.
Driving :
For those driving themselves through
the garden of France or for more independence, using car hire, see outline map.
By arrangement in advance it is also possible to extend your stay in the village of Cucuron, continuing to explore Provence, for example: the Gorge du Verdon, or the Chateau of the Marquis de Sade etc. or just flop.
To Bring :
You will need your own camera equipment. Two batteries and more than one card. (ideally enough for a days work, without re-charge or download)
It is intended that you spend a minimum but constructive time on the computer, and the maximum in sunlight or even the pleasure of shadow, looking and...
La Cuisine :
Eating in France is of course important and a great pleasure. However on- location I recommend a combination of: picnics, Cafés or very reasonably priced restaurants.
Some of the accommodations have fully equipped kitchens, though I imagine we want to explore a restaurant or two, for the occasional evening out, dining in the open air.
